Reserving your session is just the beginning.
From the planning call to your design appointment to the artwork delivered to your home, every step is guided — so the photos make it on your walls and in your hands effortlessly.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
It’s best to book your session 2-3 months in advance, especially for newborn and milestone sessions, as these spots fill up quickly.
WHAT ENSURES A FULL-SERVICE EXPERIENCE?
I guide you every step — from planning outfits, to professional hair & makeup, to designing finished artwork for your home — so all you have to do is show up and enjoy.
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT FOR PORTRAITS?
Katie Petrick clients plan to invest 375 for their signature session fee. Digital images are not included and families expect to invest a minimum of 1500 on digital files/ artwork
WILL YOU HELP ME STYLE MY SESSION?
Yes! I am happy to provide outfit and location recommendations during your planning call about 4 weeks before your session.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes — flexible payment plans are available for artwork purchases.
HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Your viewing & ordering appointment takes place about 2–3 weeks after your session, where you’ll choose your favorite images and artwork.
Digital images are delivered shortly after your ordering appointment, and finished artwork is ready approximately 3–5 weeks later, depending on your selections.
WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY NEWBORN SESSION?
Within 7–14 days after birth, while baby is still sleepy and curled. If you’re past that window, don’t worry — I photograph babies up to 6 weeks old and will create something beautiful at any age.
WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY MATERNITY SESSION?
Around 28–34 weeks — when your bump is beautifully round but you still feel comfortable.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Sessions can be held in your home, in the studio, or outdoors. We’ll choose the perfect location together.
