Hi, I’m Katie Petrick, a Waxhaw newborn photographer who loves to snuggle newborns. When a family brings a new little one into the world, I get to document that pure love. It’s amazing to watch how siblings adapt to sharing their attention and showing support for each other.
The session below featured a sweet baby boy and his family, including his two big sisters. They are so in love with their brother. Big sister told me about how she helps out her parents with bottles and diapers, and as soon as I had him wrapped up, she was asked to hold him. The middle sister was just so excited to be a big sister finally. She could have held her brother that entire time. I loved seeing these connections between siblings. It is one of the many reasons I love my job!
