As a mama and newborn photographer in North Carolina, the quote below really stuck out to me…

For me, all I have to do is think about all of the mamas who just had their newborn babies to find the beauty in this quote. As a newborn photographer in North Carolina, I see so many new mamas who are unsure of themselves, their bodies, their new roles, and their abilities as a parent. They often show up to our sessions feeling overwhelmed and almost always exhausted. As their newborn photographer in North Carolina, I get to be a part of the journey of gaining confidence in motherhood for these mamas, and that‘s why I love my job!

During our sessions, we talk, we laugh, we cry, and we share stories. I get to witness this invisible bond that is created between them and their new baby, one that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. It‘s during these magical moments that I can feel and see the confidence and joy radiating out of them! The beautiful moments I capture in my photos are truly timeless heirlooms for the mamas, reminding them of how hard they have worked as a mother and helping them to see the beauty in the mundane of life.

I believe that being able to reflect back and truly appreciate all of the hard work that comes with being a mom is the first step towards finding confidence and motivation. I think of what I do as the art of capturing special memories. I love to freeze time with my camera, helping to create a lasting legacy for my clients. Each of my mamas deserves to be proud of the wonderful job they have done in bringing their beautiful baby.

When I created my experience, I knew that delivering just the gallery was not really how I wanted to end my session with moms. I knew I wanted to be able to build relationships and help mamas turn their memories into artwork for their homes. All while not having to stress, plan, or worry about making it all happen. Because as new moms, we are so so busy with all the tasks and then all the mental components that go into being a new mama we well. That is why I include wardrobe, hair, and makeup services for all of my sessions. Allowing you to enjoy the process, regain your confidence, and feel great about your session. Then after your session, we connect again so you can see your beautiful family and create heirlooms and fine art pieces for your home. Allowing you to look back and see not only how much your little one has grown but also how far you have come as well.
