I recently had the opportunity to offer a lifestyle newborn session in Charlotte NC as part of an auction benefiting Charlotte Prep School. The mama of this session was a loving mother who had just welcomed her second child, a precious baby boy, into their family. The session was filled with genuine moments and heartwarming cuddles.
This mama opted to include professional hair and makeup services. She knew that she wanted to feel pampered, and since this was her second child she really wanted an opportunity to relax. This additional touch allowed the mother to feel her absolute best during the lifestyle newborn session, boosting her confidence and enhancing her natural beauty. It’s incredible how a bit of pampering can make a session even more enjoyable and memorable.

The setting for this heartwarming lifestyle newborn session was their cozy Charlotte home. It’s within these familiar surroundings that we captured genuine moments of family life. Big sister was equally excited about her new role as a big sister.
As a photographer, I’m always drawn to the unique details that make each family’s home special. In this case, their home was filled with touches of warmth and personal significance. From the tranquil nursery with its soft colors and delicate decorations.
Mama had known before her session that she wanted to invest in frames for their staircase. During her viewing and ordering call she invested in two frames and we ensured that we captured the perfect shots for these frames. These images would serve as a daily reminder of the love and happiness that filled their home during this precious time.
The session flowed seamlessly, with the newborn peacefully sleeping, wrapped in soft blankets, and the family sharing authentic moments of laughter and affection.
